Absztrakt:
A tanulmány egy reprezentatív mintára alapozva azt vizsgálja, hogy a regionális és településtípussal kapcsolatos változók mellett a demográfiai (nem, kor), társadalmi (végzettség, jövedelem) és munkaerőpiaci jellemzők (munkanélküliség, közszféra), illetve az egyéni preferenciák (kockázatvállalás és türelem) milyen összefüggésben állnak azzal, hogy a válaszadónak van-e bankszámlája vagy bankkártyája. A szerzők azt találják, hogy az, hogy valaki a közszférában dolgozik vagy nem, és a neme nem befolyásolja a bankszámla- és bankkártya-tulajdonlást, míg a preferenciák hatása függ a szolgáltatástól. A többi változó (életkor, iskolázottság, jövedelem, munkanélküliség) hatása a várakozásoknak megfelelő és szignifikáns külön-külön és akkor is, ha egyszerre veszik őket számításba. Az elemzés megmutatja, hogy a regionális és a településtípussal kapcsolatos hatások is jelentősek.
